Set in the ‘60s, against the backdrop of the Vietnam War and the hippie culture,
Hair tells the story of Claude, a young man from a small Midwest town.

Joining a group of hippies living in Central Park, Claude has to decide whether to follow his conventional upbringing
and enlist in the army, or whether to embrace the hippie culture of freedom, love and peace.

Hair broke the mould of traditional musicals and became known for its energy and iconic songs
such as such as ‘Aquarius’, ‘Let The Sunshine In’ ‘I Got Life’ and `Good Morning Starshine'

Cast Members Needed

Auditions for this show have now taken place and principle casting completed
however, we urgently need to cast the Afro-American role of "Hud".

The show will be performed at The Theatre Royal Windsor from 10 – 14 April this year, with matinees on Thursday and Saturday.

Additional chorus members of any ethnic origin would also be very welcome.
All cast should have a playing age of 18-35, be able to sing & dance and must be over the age of 18.

Hair was the first and most successful rock musical, featuring well known numbers such as ‘Aquarius’, ‘Let The Sunshine In’ and ‘I Got Life’.
It was recently revived in the West End and is currently enjoying a new lease of life on Broadway.

Rehearsals are on Mondays and Wednesdays at 8.00 pm at 536 Ipswich Road, Slough Trading Estate, Slough SL1 4EQ.
