Slough, Windsor and Maidenhead Theatre Company (S.W.M.T.C.)
has it's origins way back in 1953 when a group of like minded performers in the Slough area came together.
The group first met at the Orchard school (latterly the West Wing Theatre) and the rest, as they say, is history!

Some 60 plus years later we are still going strong and attracting performers from all over the East Berkshire and West London areas.
We are a friendly and sociable group who put on two major musical performances a year.

Formerly Slough and District Operatic Society and latterly Slough Musical Theatre Company, as of November 2008, to reflect
our work in the Maidenhead theatre community and also the diverse area our membership is from, we became
 ...  Slough, Windsor and Maidenhead Theatre Company.

We welcome performers from the age of 16 to 60+ who have a love of theatre and want to learn and gain experience taking
part in some very challenging shows. Alternatively, if you have an interest in backstage work, we would also like to hear from you too.

We currently rehearse on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 8pm to 10pm at
Woodlands Park Scool,
Woodlands Park,
Haywood Rd,
Maidenhead
SL6 3UD

During "resting" periods between shows, we have a regular social scene with various activities being organised by various
members of the committee and society.

We also take part in community events in the local area taking musical theatre to different venues.
